Representatives from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) visited India to launch a new and unique series of pharmacy masters programmes that will develop the skills required for prospective employees within the life sciences industry.
Professor Antony D'Emanuele and Dr Philip Roberts attended the British Council Exhibitions in Chennai and Bengaluru on the 5 and 6 of February.
They launched a series of innovative masters programmes that have been developed following extensive discussions with the industry, both in the UK and in India, including Astra Zeneca, GlaxoSmithKline, Ranbaxy and Zydus.
For a global learning experience, students have the option to undertake their projects within a laboratory in India, with the taught element delivered in the UK.
